It removes burrs, blends scratches from stainless steel workpieces with both exceptional speed and dependability. Meanwhile, the non-woven mop disc is gentle on the material and completes the finish with a flawless surface that shows an even surface pattern.
Variable speed - consistently excellent results
The SMT 800 Special is used in combination with high-speed angle grinders (80 m/s). The product will achieve its best results when combined with variable speed machines. Klingspor offers the SMT 800 Special with different grit sizes, allowing the user to complete both coarser and finer application with utmost precision. The tool will deliver consistent work results throughout its remarkably long lifetime.
Non-woven flaps for a perfect finish
At the heart of the SMT 800 Special are the flaps made of a special non-woven material. This material has been optimised for refining surfaces. The abrasive is applied evenly in a fan arrangement. This coating provides for uniform abrasive performance as the non-woven mop disc itself ensures that it will always work with fresh grit. A backing plate made of a special glass fibre, serves as the basis for the non-woven flaps. This backing plate ensures the force is transmitted onto the workpiece. This achieves a uniform surface finish on stainless steel. Flaps and backing plate are bonded together in the manufacturing process. Klingspor produce to safety standard EN 13743 and the requirements of the oSa guidelines, and exceed the requirements for the SMT 800 Special.

Camping and Caravan Direct use DPD for all of our UK Deliveries, if when placing your order you include your email address and your mobile telephone number (if available) they will then send you and email or a text to your phone with an approximate delivery time for your goods.

When can I expect my goods to be delivered?
If we receive your order before 3pm (GMT) and your items are in stock, we will dispatch the same day! Delivery can then be expected next day for mainland UK. Please note, due to occasional problems with electronic systems, delays may occur in TGS receiving orders via email or the website, and this may affect delivery.
RETURNS:
We will refund or credit any item returned within 7 days of delivery if it has been damaged in transit or the wrong item has been dispatched, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. If any item is returned because of being faulty, and after inspected is found to be in perfect order then carriage costs would be paid by the customer.
Our courier (DPD) will attempt to deliver your order on 2 separate occasions. An email and text will be sent with the tracking details with an approximate time of the delivery, should your order still remain undelivered because you are not available to receive, it well then be automatically returned to us via DPD. In this case, the cost of the delivery will be bourn by the customer.
Please note we reserve the right to charge a 15% re-stocking fee on all returned non faulty items
Please note: If you have ordered a length of any kind of hose, this is cut to size as per a customers order and therefore, cannot be refunded.
